does anyone know if bikingdirect.com are reliable to buy from? they are selling motorbikes and offer a free delivery so thinking of getting my bike from there since it offers free delivery

I cringe at the thought of buying a bike off a website. There's something about selecting a bike a pressing 'Add to basket' that just feels....wrong.

They look ok though. Professional website. They haven't made an email address and postal address easy to find though. Its there, but only if you know where to look.

I don't know the 125 market but surely you're better off getting a second hand Jap bike than some new imported Chinese Bike no? Maybe they're of good enough quality these days but make sure you can get replacement parts readily too. Happy shopping!

there is only one bike store local to me and they mostly only sell the chinese ones, its hard for me to find anything local that i like or thats decent . i do like the pulse adenaline problem is if when the time comes ill be able to ride home on it or not tho at the same time i would prefer delivery so i dont get lost ^^ its likely ill end up buying from the local store its only about 6 mile away and could use phone sat nav lol

I would honestly say (as Stenno did) that a 2nd hand Jap bike would be a far better purchase, i'd buy an 80's 125 yamaha over a chinese one.

+1. You can buy a Yamaha SR125 for around £400, try looking on Autotrader for one. If it's your first bike you don't need a brand spanking new one that folk will stop and admire, save that for your next one. Plus you'd be better supporting your local bike shop!
