Bike stuff at Aldi

saw an add in the paper today, and I was really surprised at the cost of that lid!
I know it has been tested, but I could never trust a helmet that cheap for my every day helmet.

They do have some very nice deals though, and it is very tempting to get some of that stuff!

There better still be a nice £30 paddock stand waiting for me wen my dad goes to try and get one tomorrow!

Got myself some aldi loot.

Bought a pair of boots and a paddock stand.

Gloves look good if a little thin.

Helmets look nice. ECE certified. But opted to not get one because it's a full face and they're a pita with glasses.

Paddock stand looks good, yet to put mine together but it seems to do all I need, both rear swing arm and front fork supports in the box.

They had decent looking other kit too, was tempted by the thermals but I'm a fat bastard and likely not fit.

8:05am my aldis was probably 7 paddock stands down. Thought i'd be the only one on a thursday in there at that time but loads of people on the way to work popped in and were all over the stands.

Same here, but When I went after college about 12:30, there was hardly nothing left they were only 3 pair of boots luckly had one in my size, The only thing that they had plenty of is helmets. I was told they were queing up before it opened.

Anywhere I got what I want and set out for boots and a tool kit. so I'm happy :D .

Dad managed to pick me up a paddock stand whilst I was at college, no pictures im affraid but naturally i had to put it together and get my bike off the ground as soon as possible to test it out :D

The frame itself seems very sturdy to my relief and the fittings to hold the back wheel up were alright, did the job :) The Only bits that seem cheaper are the wheels but they were still perfectly adequate and you have to save the money somewhere so best on the non-essential bits! :D All in all, very pleased for £30!

Helmet would be good if you done car trackdays.
Yeah or karting, perfect for that.

Another reason I didn't buy one was cost, couldn't justify another £30 for something that'd get very little use.

Good to hear about the stand I've bought one just to get the front tyre off the ground during winter storage
