Well I got a call from the adjuster, and even though it wasn't major damage and easily repaired. They decided that "the cost of repairs will be more than the bike is worth" so it was written off as a total loss. Although I expected it because they just think it is easier to deal with, I am still kind of bummed. Looking at a positive though, at least I can get another bike soon (600RR) so it isn't too bad.

Still, being my first bike that I bought and owned by myself, it'll be hard to watch it go.

Could have been a lot worse, at least you are still able to update us here. Shopping for a new bike is always fun maybe the circumstances aren't ideal but hey I'm a glass half full kind of guy.

you can have all the fun of getting to know this new bike that you had when you first got that other bike. get a dirtbike they bounce better.
