On this site, we all love bikes as shown by we take leisure rides and record our findings. So would you get a job which involved riding a bike?

Might seem an attractive prospect, but does anyone think that if you were on a bike all day, 5 days a week, would it take the shine off it for you?
 
Nope, never, not a chance. I like riding and something I was told once was "Don't make your hobby your job", or something like that, with proper grammar.
I worked once doing one of my hobbies and something I liked a lot now is something I can't stand.
Now that I think of it, another thing I used to like was playing chess until I took a chess course on high school where I was kind of forced to play. I hate the game now.

hmmm ... i have to wonder.... i know a lot of people say that Maccas delivery is/would be great.. but goddam! .. how friggin lazy do you have to be to have mediocre fast food delivered?!?!?!? :rolleyes:
 
i want to work in a motorcycle shop so getting to test drive ur work and all that i wouldnt mind be around bikes all day riding or fixing them dont care can stay bay them all day everyday
 
Haha, i want to do another cbt for a laugh and see what they rekon to figure of 8 rolling burnout through the cones ;) and rolling stoppie emergency stop
 
I'd fail most of the 16 year old scooter riders as once they've got their CBT they do everything to demonstrate that they really shouldn't be on the roads, around here anyway. I'm sure there are a few sensible ones.

I was once a Bike courier, it was an absolute BLAST. Did a night or 2, helpinmg my brother with a Comedy Night TV show. Running SVHS Tapes back and forth to the studio. But mainly DayTime parcels in the CBD of Melbourne.

Until the day that Friggn Cager pulled out in front of me, WEEEEEEEEEEEEE...

Oh well, the Joys...It was fun for a while, you'd see another courier at the lights...oooh its ON, LETS GO MAAATE...Brrr BRRRR BROOOOMMM REEEOOOWWW.....
I do have memories of doing (rare occasions), 100-120kph around the outscurts of the CBD. Get there FAST, just to earn that cash, or addrennaline...Oh and the Receptionists...Mmmmmm Aaarrrrgggghh...lol

One day i/we/us left the lights (x5??), 2guys on Trail bikes lift the wheel from the light, me and the other guys drag it.
But then i have to pull over to deliver a parcel...to do my delivery...later on, i get back to my bike...."Hello Sir, any reason for leaving those lights so fast??"...Ooops, sorry Officer (waiting for me to return)...FAIL!!

But i choose to look at the Fun times, not the 'Purple testicles' from T bones with cars, or Speeding tickets/riding on foot-paths tickets(lol), or even that day the Truck started to turn left, with me on his left...AHHHH, oooh i do LOVE having an 'escape plan' at the flick of the wrist.

DO IT~, put it ON your Bucket List. Tell ya Grand-Kiddees about the time YOU worked the 'Salt Mines'.

Oh, BTW, the written-Off bike was a WIN. I paid $750 for it, was paid out $2750, bought it back again for $250. (only cosmetic damage)
Worth getn my Nuts hit with the Tank :/
