This last one is when I straightened the bars, gives you an idea of the damage.

You did quite a number on that :/ But bikes can be replaced! So there is not really any need to worry :] Like everyone will say, so long as you are ok!
If you don't mind me asking, How did it happen? Just outright head-on?

Anyway! Get back on two soon mate! :]

yeah :) looking for a new bike in April :D

And well, not too sure on the details, I misjudged a bend it was dark, I'd dropped to dipbeam halfway round a corner when I saw her coming, not sure if she did this caused me to fail to see that the road straightened up before a second bend, wondered towards her side, saw the car infront, so swerved back to my side of the road, she swerved right to try to avoid me, and we met in the middle

Oh blimey! Was it a fast road?! If so you are quite lucky that it wasn't completely destroyed! And I had a similar situation last night, It was dark and I strayed into the wrong lane :| can happen quite easily

well in theory it was a 50, she said that's the speed she was going, when I noticed what was happening, I slowed down as much as possible (probably to about 10?) the police guess that by the looks of it, I managed to throw the bike to the left which dropped even more speed and is why I'm not dead :p

Interesting looking at how the bike has taken the impact and absorbed it, as long as you are all ok!!

When she swerved do you think you hit the left side of her car then? All the impact damage on your bike appears to be on the left  I'm guessing the damage on the right side was from laying if down.

Bike turns left really well now :p

And I beleive so, but as I said, I think that's from when she evaded right, when I went left, sort of met in the middle and all that.
