so yesterday I took my first ride after my crash.. it was not on my bike but on one from work.. a 1997 honda goldwing 1500. long story about why my job has a goldwing, but the main thing is it sat for years and was neglected. finally got approval to fix it. $1800 and many hours later its back running.. yesterday I had to do some parts runs, the boss and the big boss were away so... nobody to tell me not to.. took it for a ride around the city picked up the stuff I needed then brought it back for an oil change and a wash.
then after work I (and sitting in a hour and 45 minutes of traffic) I got home with enough daylight left to finish getting my bike together enough to ride. alignment is a little off and I still need new tires and turn signals... but it rides. now I need a new helmet (using the old one for now.... I know I know I shouldn't, but it's that or not ride.) and the mounts for my drift then I am in business.
