On 31 August I'm setting off from Albuquerque, New Mexico and heading up to Jesper, Alberta. Then heading back. Two weeks and close to 4000 miles (6400 km).

i have had my hole summer on the bike stolen from me, so as soon as im all fixed up me and my 650 are going around the uk for a few weeks.

i plan to stay with family in cornwall and inverness so will stay there for a couple of days and explore the local area on the bike =]

my hope is to try and stay 100% coast roads so as close to the sea as i can and stop off at as many main sea front destinations as i can to get a photo. the map link is just a rough outline i did as i cant ad as many markers in as i need so will need to make a map for each day with more markers =]

im thinking of calling it The Hole Way Around lol

No, the route is pretty similar to what I've shown, with different roads on the way back. We came down the west coast last year from San Fransisco to LA. Highly recommend that if you get the chance. This year's trip is going through National Parks and mountain ranges. I'll probably post a trip report when I get back.

Hey there,
TriumfAnt I just noticed the link to your route now-.- looks pretty awesome, I'd love to have the chance to ride over there. You'll be travelling through some amazing country, Wyoming, Montana and such:) Cowboy country! surely you must film!!! Believe me I'd love the chance to ride some of the places out there. You riding solo then or with company?

Hey Meifesto, can't really advise on places to visit down south as I live in the north of the UK. Cornwall, Devon, New forest are all gorgeous places to visit down there I guess. As for the south coast places such as Bournemouth and Brighton are nice places to visit:)

Toy soldier that is going to be one hell of a trip:P that's going to take forever:P and it sucks that you had your bike stolen hope that you get it sorted soon. Only thing that I'd say about your trip is your missing out the Yorkshire Dales and some of the gorgeous west coast of Scotland. Looks awesome though.

Well I feel sad now with you guys doing all these awesome trips. God damn being a student.

Cheers,
TBB1. :)

Hoping there will be 5 of us (up from 3 last year). There will be lots of pics and video. I'll be sure to post links when I get back.
