Yep! I can do it but usually don't. Just requires more gas to get off the line.I hate when that happens, my last bike was really sensitive and would always stall if I tried taking off in 2nd
I agree Wolf and that guy had no clue we were going to race. But he smoked me haha...I've had an electric scooter overseas before and it was quick/torquey. I can only imagine a gas one with more power, lots of fun to zoom around on.A lot of scooters are really fast right off the line due to the fact that they (the CVT versions) don't have to shift gears, they're just twist and go.
Not to say that the guy's bike would have beaten you, but a lot of riders are generally surprised over how quick and nibble a scooter can be.
