Any Opinions/thoughts On Suzuki Bandit 1250?

G'day fellas,

A 2010 Suzuki Bandit 1250 just rocked up at the local dealers and was chasing peoples thoughts/opinions on how reliable, maintainable, powerful and comfortable they are???

There are very little reviews available online to justify anything for me, I admire the upright riding position and the 1255cc engine.

Never ridden one, but my old boy owns one. He loves it, heaps of balls but he often complains about the squared of edges of the seat cutting into his thighs on long rides. Small price to pay though for a great bike.

Depends on the usage of it, ive never been moved much by bandits also comonly known as blandits here, they are reliable work horses, but if i was going for a big cc suzuki it would be the gsx1400 or the bking.

Its just what id rather own than the bandit, gsx1400 is a torque monster and it looks pretty cool, where as the bandit doesnt do much for me, its a good bike and will do everything well just meh.

Bandits are great bikes. I didn't like them at first but my dad has one. He let me borrow it one dash and I must say it changed my view. Very comfortable and rides great.

I'll be buying one for the Euro tours this year. Cheap, reliable, comfortable 2 up with luggage and still fun enough.

It's an ideal bike for that job, but it's too heavy without that much power to be huge amounts of fun in my opinion.
