I've gotten lost before, but not really lost, if you know what I mean. It's usually not that hard to find my way back. I often go exploring unfamiliar places
Yes, definitely, I do it on purpose, It's so much fun just riding out and taking random roads, That's how I've found some of my favourite places infact 70% of the ride @jthomas & I have planed I only know about because I got lost and found it, I set out into the mountains rode in different directions for 4 hours, and found myself 150K from home in another state... One of my best days riding!
We just had a weekend ride and we went exploring up this disused little trail led us right to this one abandoned villa or something. Cool and spooky. Had a pool there probably a good spot to dump some bodies in.
My whole England vacation was just about driving on the roads to get completely lost.
At some point i turned on the GPS to bring me back to the hotel (avoiding highways)
Some days it was a close 30 min and some days it was a good 3 hour drive back
I wouldn't say I've ever gotten lost. I've been roaming around the backroads and trails in my area since i was a wee lad. I have found the odd road that leads nowhere though. I know where I am and how to get back to where I want to be, just didn't go down the right road! haha. Only happens when I'm vlogging though, as I focus on talking more instead of where I am/where I want to go. Actually happened this weekend while filming my latest vlog. Included that bit in the vlog as well, seemed like the thing to do.
