Amazon Scams

Is it just me or are the listings for 128GB micro SD cards on amazon scams. What is it about the "custom formatting for device X" that makes it worth $50-$60 more than the non custom formatted ones?

Im not going to buy a custom one, I just think it seems funny that some people will buy the more expensive ones just because it says its for their specific device.

Lets say that those were indeed "custom formatted", whatever that means. And I plug it into my computer and just format to Fat32. 50 bucks worth of custom work permanently erased. As the formatting is replaced.

Would be interesting to email support and fake a story like that. See what they say.

Probably just sticking it into the camera so it creates its little personal files and then shipping it out. Which will happen when you put it in your camera anyway. Either way it's probably just Chinglish or made up marketing gimmick.
