It's been one of those days. I kinda have a jerry rigged recording system, which is ok...until it goes wrong, which it did today.

So I left the house at 6:45 am. I got some great video of the morning wisps on the fields, stopped in at a men's prayer breakfast an hour from home and met up with a friend. After breakfast, we rode about 60 miles to help another friend of mine move, and I got great video...or so I thought. Then I took a ride on his R6...and thought I got great video...

When I got home, half of the footage on my helmet cam never recorded, two of the videos on my phone were corrupted, and to top it off, the headphone jack on my phone seems to be well...jacked.

I'm not sure how it happened, but the video and sound are great for the first bit of recording, but everything I recorded from 9 am on is fubar.

On the plus side, I have a Sena Tube that should be arriving in the mail today. I hope it does, because I need some more footage since most of my previous footage is on my othoer computer which has gotten stuck in the Windows update loop....so...I'm a bit annoyed.

On the plus side, I got a new job yesterday at a local Bridgestone shop, which is pretty dang cool I think.

Man that's some tough luck :/

If you can't get anything to let you plug into your phone or camera I would recommend something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QKBVYK/?tag=yoursiteranke-21

I know it's a bit pricey but it works like a dream. I got one to allow me to grab audio from a lapel mic when I am interviewing people for other projects. Plus using the audio straight from the mics are great as well.

A 16-32 GB card will literally last FOREVER and it takes a single AA battery so no need to worry about keeping it charged. Just have a spare battery with you.
