I might have to sell my DRZ soon to be able to afford a KTM for the endurance races.

it was my first real bike that i took on the roads, took offroad on the IOM, hit 100mph with a restrictor on the hill towards the creg, completed an enduro, did some big(ish) mileage on it and had my first real taste of freedom.

thinking about this kind of upsets me (without sounding like a complete panzy) and i was just wondering if y'all feel the same sort of bond between you and your bike. i.e. it gets broken you feel bad or ya sell it and feel like poo.

:?

i think im gonna do an enduro on it, viking burial sort of thing...

Don't do iiiiiit! ;) Most DRZ owners I've known have got rid of theirs, I love mine so much I bought a second. I don't know what is wrong with the world! :P My first DRZ was like my 10th bike I have owned, still my favourite compared with so many other bikes.

i have to :( i love it more than words can say, mentally not physically though.

when im out of uni i will make a thing of buying one.

im gonna rename her daisy-rose because you have daisy and daisy-sue!

yeah I know what you mean, I felt bad when I had to sell my Aprilia, even though it was just a 50 it was my first geared bike :/ really miss it.

Bikes are like girlfriends... sometimes you part ways for the right reasons, sometimes you part ways for the wrong reasons. When that one true one comes along, you forget about all the others.... mostly 8-)
