A Little Over 1000 Views

i just got a little over 1000 views in 2 months after my first video. i have posted 24 videos so far. Is 1000 views in the first 2 months good or bad? how many views did you get your first 2 months?

I'd say yes, depending on how long each view last, 100 1-minute watchers is better than 1000 10-sec watchers IMO.

Hah, most of my videos don't even cross the 100 view mark. You don't really have anything to feel bad about.

Even if 70% of the viewer interaction with my videos is a downvote/dislike/thumbsdown, i'd still take it anyway if it means a couple of thousand views. Since this means I am actually capable of making something that stokes peoples' emotions.

I had to dig into the archives and found that my first month, June 2013 yielded 91 views and the second month 451.
Stark contrast to 2014, where June yielded 4382 and July yielded 4536
And then 2015... June 21547 and July 22312

Can't say what 2016 will bring, but it won't be 4x as much! HAHAHA!

Needless to say, I don't chase the numbers as TheSwissMotard wrote. It is the devil, and will bring you nothing but sorrow really.

i feel once i get a hater ill have some much funnier videos of me making fun of them. i haven't got any dislikes yet but i did have my friend leave a comment that i just need to sell my car before i fuck it up on his daughters youtube account. i was like who the hell is this I'm gonna tell them they can buy it for $200k and do whatever they want to it and he would laugh then i figured out it was him just messing with me.

I've had 1300+ views on the first month after uploading my first 'proper' motovlog. I guess getting above 1000 views is a good sign for the first month.

Number of views means nothing. You can spend a couple of dollars on a adwords campaign and get 1000's in a couple of minutes.

It means nothing. Viewer retention is where its at.

I would think with how mutch trash I talk about mustangs and Hondas I would have one by now. I think all the Mustangs running over people at car meets it making them used to it.
