(twice actually, yesterday and today again).

I had to make a thank you video, because it felt really weird yesterday

Hmmm I just assumed that at 1k sub, the views would be there. Shows you that its not just the subs.

Maybe normally yes.
But my channel had to big "off-line" moments, of being dead for 6+ months. So quite some dead subs and thus not as many views as you would anticipate normally with 1000 subs

Make some play lists if you do not have some already. Linking similar videos together can help the watch time go up. If you do have some playlists I will help, I will sometimes go to others channels and put on a playlist and go do something.
