Update: A new tyre wasn't needed in the end :) The garage resealed and cleaned the tyre for £30 with glue.
It hasn't dropped a single psi all week and that's with carrying pillions on the back too.
I just purchased a new scooter for the knowledge and was wondering what the best tracker would be?
I've seen cheap trackers on Amazon but are they worth it?
Just a little update on the situation... Took a reading from my gauge and it still says 10 psi (3days strong since the last test). So I decided to go to the garage and put in an additional 25psi. I have to say I was having a little trouble putting the air in as the valve isn't that great on the...
Ah mate that's awful, RIP Sue Wright.
Checked at the garage first, then got my rac gauge out to double check which gave the same reading. It could be a valve issue, but that's why I want to get a tyre specialist to have a look. Both times I checked the tyres where cold. I usually check my...
Damn better get this sorted as I drive every single day. I only bought the bike a month ago, but i drive around with my younger brother on the back quite often, so do you think that could be the reason the psi has gone down over the last 4 weeks? The front tyre is fine, but the rear was reading...
So i went to fill my tyres up with air there other day and the air pressure machine said it only had 10 psi in the rear tyre?
I know that is not true, how do I fix this? I also have a handheld reader and it gave the same reading of 10psi.
@dandoolittle Could I just use my old gasket?
@HippoDrone I'm good mate, just a have a bruised knee. Lucky I was wearing my motorcycle jeans with knee pads.
Think I'd rather just spend 18 quid for a new one, then install my crash bungs. My bike is mint showroom condition so it would look a bit stupid with paint.
Haha basically, I was in a bad mood and spun the bike out as I was leaving the parking space. Like I was turning right as I was pulling away too fast and the bike slipped and fell down. Completely my fault but my head was elsewhere.
Hi everyone,
Recently I passed my test and got my first big bike. Yesterday I slid off as I pulled away too fast (stupid mistake). Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to install the crash bungs as they are still in the post and as a result here is the damage.
How the hell am I going to...
You've got to be spending £3000 minimum for a Triumph Street Triple 675 for something decent. Plus it's a thief magnet in London so not for me lol. Cheers though.
Hi everyone,
Last week I passed my DAS - Category A, with only one minor :)
I'm looking to 100% get my first big bike early January 2018 (5 weeks away), so doing the research now. My budget is limited to around £2000, until I save up for something better next summer. Also the main issue is as...
Hello everyone,
Bit of a unusual question, but I recently purchased a 100% leather jacket and wondering how I could put a set of CE approved armoured pads inside the jacket?
I was thinking about buying some self adhesive velcro strips from eBay and sticking them inside the jacket. Any other...
Hi everyone,
I'm going to do my test at the end of this month when I get paid (Category A), but was wondering where to do it and how much did you pay? Some places seem to be a lot more expensive than others and not sure if the extra money is worth it.
