Euro Trip

Heading into mainland Europe on one of my epic tours in August just wondered if any of you guys were near my route and fancied a quick meetup with maybe a little ride?

This is a full day to day route map so if you are close by give us a shout.

DAY-1 :3/8/15

down the B48 and B500 and a night in hotel.

Down through Switzerland through a few passes then on to first night of camping.

More passes on the way into south east France got two nights camping here as day five is a ring round the better passes and sights of France.

Off through more passes into Monaco then onto another two night camping stop.

Through Austria and into the Czech Republic got a whole apartment for less than £30.

I will either push for home real long day or go to Luxembourg and stay in the Ibis there and head home the next day

Slight change to day-1 have decided to pay the toll and use the A16 knocks a lot of time off and its less than a tenner, it’s the only toll I am going to use though, although I had to buy the vignette as it is compulsory in Austria but its only a fiver and have got it all ready.

I spent eight days hooning round Switzerland last year, and since 2010 have managed to do at least five days a year there.
It's been a few years since I spent more then a day or two in Southern France so decided to just zip through Switzerland doing a route I hadn't done for years.

Love the roads in Switzerland, also the people are friendly even if you can't speak a word of the lingo. Its just a shame more bikers from the UK don't go they seem to be scared to go across to mainland Europe and very few go on their own.
