I should have been meeting CT right about now (0815) at some services on the M40 but I'm back home after the least fun ride I've ever had. The roads getting more and more flooded as I went along, finally got to the point where I was not going to risk going any further, and the wind is the worse I've ever ridden in. I was not comfortable at all. If the floods hadn't been there I would have gone but the wind was a worry.
Last year I was on the A34 headed towards Oxford and as I was overtaking a lorry round a left hand bend, we passed the trees lining the road and got to open fields. The cross wind almost blew me into the central reservation. After that i tucked myself in behind the next lorry all the way to Oxford.
The wind today was worse for the 25 miles I rode to the flooded road.
Damn shame as the weather is actually nice today bar the wind.

Well, back now after an epic day of exhibitions lol!
Many thanks for Chuckles85 and Cowtipper84 for making the day even better, I'm gonna rig a vlog together over the next couple of days and I'm sure the other lads will too?
I think the rest of you guys who are going during the week, will have a brilliant time too, I can't believe how huge the place is??
It must cover around 5-6 halls???
Overriding memory though is of CT84 having us take pictures of him with practically EVERY model that he clapped eyes upon lol! Good lad! :lol:
