Cool design! What did you mom think about it?
She did not read the text at first, you know many bikers decorate themselves with graphics of skulls. And when she did, she gave that small roll of eyes with the "tsk" sound.

I washed and waxed my bike.
Interesting how two small w-s can make a difference of you caring for your bike and we all being worried about you.

Yesterday I was out enjoying the weather and a car full of women did love hearts at me and witnessed 3 cars almost crashing into each other

Today I plan to go somewhere I’ve never been before! Not even sure where yet. Maybe Whitewaye, maybe Rykas

I had a little trip to look at some holes and some arches using a flying technology. I'm living in Star Trek times.

I love my drone too.

You know, sometimes we take tech for granted. 20 years ago if someone told me I'd own a small portable remote controlled flying hi-def video camera I'd have thought they were crazy, yet today I own one.

Yesterday I went for a ride around with a few people and my CBT instructor was there.
At the end he said to me I’m more than ready to do my big bike training. Someone was shocked I’ve only been riding just over a month and thought I was making it up. My confidence has gone through the roof - guess going out atleast once a day since getting it has helped

Screw the fame, as long as there is free food! :p
Is the music video up somewhere already for us to see? Maybe you can share us the title, considering videos can't be linked here.
I recently also put myself, and my bike, up for taking part in a music video of Tommy Cash,. But I did not get chosen in the last round. They already confirmed my availability on specific dates etc, so I was actually thinking I'd end up in the video. Seems like cruisers are becoming a thing in rap music o_O

Yeah, they have to wait for 3 weeks for editing to go through, then wait for approval from a YouTube channel to upload - all complicated to me, all I know is they are paying near enough £4K to upload it.. ‍♂️♂️

Congrats! That's some proper travelling mileage there.
Thanks - I was a nervous wreck the whole weekend. I don't ride in the rain, and I'd never gone more than 210 miles in a day... so this was all SORTS of firsts. Also, lots of people - other motovloggers - so, it was a wild trip all around. Over 1,000 miles for the trip.

So did you feel more confident in your ability to do those after making it through a rain ride?

Riding in the rain can be a whole different experience as far as technique goes.

Even with all my years and time in the saddle I still get a little unnerved depending on the heaviness of the storm. Then I think about all the other rain rides I survived. It helps me. Plus monitoring my breathing and muscle tension helps me not to get too tense.

Group rides with unfamiliar folks present different challenges too. It can be drill team precise to hearding cats depending on the other riders.

I'm definitely less apprehensive about going out and getting caught in the rain, that's for sure! As the weekend went on, I cared less about the weather. I think in all the hullabaloo, I forgot how to countersteer, LOL.

I did concentrate on my breathing and tension since both can affect my riding, so I never got TOO tense.

The group ride aspect was definitely unnerving. I so rarely ride with other people.

I rode to VAMM 23 on Thursday... 375 miles in one day, almost doubling my previous best :D

-John
I haven't made it to a VAMM yet, every year I seem to have something going on at the same time. Last year was a family reunion, this year is a trip to visit family out of state. Sigh.

Oh and my record miles in one day of riding is 1148 miles.
