Why yes my friend it can! The Spark even had a handheld attachment so the user could carry it around without all the waspy buzzing but some users prefer using it in hands free mode. ;)
I might have to try that - for my own personal recreational use [and yes, my drone is registered with the FAA, I don't fly it for my channel].

I should also get someone with a Part 107 to fly the drone for me. That would be cool, but probably expensive.

I got all three of mine registered but no 107 work yet. Not ready for that mess. Plus Tennessee has too many trees over all the good roads or TFRS or private airports or birds of prey coming after the bugger and so on.

Still fun though. I think since I got my non-commercial license the rules changed a couple of times.

Yeah, it's all weird now, lots of things going on, moving pieces, and rumors I keep hearing about a Part 108 specifically for drone pilots. My mom's neighbor has a drone-flying business, and offered to teach me the ways of the drone force... but I haven't the time or inclination.

Maybe one day all will be settled enough to make it feasible, and then I'll pull the trigger on getting my drone into my videos. It would certainly add SOMETHING to it - like the only thing that's missing, LOL.

I’d like to get my Part 107 certification, but I’ve had zero time to study or practice his year. Hopefully that will change with the summer. It could be a good side business, or a new one should I retire from teaching. There are a lot of businesses in my area that have need for a drone pilot, but I’d love to do cinematography work.

A local video center in my area my have a class in the summer too.

I always think about it and got very close to getting one, but its just another thing to think about.
I am not 100% sure it would add a great deal to my channel at this stage
