DnD was something I never saw myself getting into until I watched the Netflix series "Stranger Things", and thought I would give it a go. Organized a small group of friends, one who was a veteran "Dungeon Master" (the title for the "storyteller" per se, the guy who runs the whole game) and we've been playing together for almost a year now. Great fun.

Let me know about your campaign/characters!

Been playing on and off for a few years. Mostly off. Tried my hand as DM but my improvised NPCs sucked.
Once I had this player character who was a fighter but armed with only a dagger and no armor. His tactic was to throw the dagger, walk over to where it fell and pick it up only to throw it again.
Needless to say he died quickly and was promptly replaced by someone who stalked them to kill him but later joined the party instead now that his goal was unavailable.
Fun times.

Lol that guy should have been a barbarian if he wanted to go armorless. DMing is tough right?! I've tried my hand at it and it is super difficult, especially if the party is full of new players who don't take your bait as guidance. What edition were you playing? My group plays 5e

I never got into D&D but used to LARP when I was younger, played an Elf called Snog!

great idea! I'd totally be down for that. I'm mostly into RPG games like Dark Souls, Fire Emblem, Borderlands, used to be a heavy WoW player, it would be fun to game with people!

Darksouls? i have to ask, how many Keyboards/Controllers have you gone through yet? :D i'm avoiding that impossible game lol but i mostly play stuff like ArmA, DayZ, Skyrim, Fifa, Football Manager & of course, Ride 2. Although with that said, i've recently got back into Crew

It's not so bad! It's an excellent game with an immersive atmosphere, I'd give it a shot! I feel like I'm generally bad at FPS, but I like the Elder Scrolls games as well. I gotta check out Ride 2!

I may haha i like RPG, RTS, FPS type games. Ride 2 and Crew are good. Crew have added the edition of motorcycles and its actually pretty good!

I normally ran with 2 short swords or a short sword and a dagger. On the large events I'd go sword and small shield. Was a proper giggle. I've now moved on to airsoft and had a DayZ loadout which included a LARP fireaxe lol
Pc wise, I am currently playing a lot of Ark but also play GTA5 and Arma3 occasionally. I used to play a lot of Heroes and Generals but not picked that up for a while.

Is ARK still cartoony af? I have it but i played it once and was like nooope. I also have GTA5 but that game is now ruined and infamously easy to hack. I hacked myself the super yacht ffs. Didn't even take me long smh. H&G i also have as its F2P but thats also easily hackable lol

Basically if it hasn't got BattlEye, then its hackable. lol

I recently got Star Citizen, looks extremely promising.. it broke the record for highest crowd funded game (they got a $billion or some shit, i think). But When they drop v3.0 - shit will be so good. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't seen/heard about it.. yet

At the moment You can't really do anything except run around an fly about a bit. StarMarine is a bit of fps but I don't want to get bored of it before its fully ready.

Understandable mate but yeah its great. Just needs to be optimised a bit better which i seriously hope comes with v3.0.. you played LOW DLC for arma yet?
