So, two to three weeks ago, I purchased a Drift Ghost S camera. So far used it on my bike, doing time lapses and such and the camera works great. The problem is that when using it in a car in DVR mode it freezes frequently. The screeching sound like on a radio station is heard then the camera turns off. It can only be turned on again, if the battery is reinstalled. Tried different card, tried formatting it on a computer instead in camera and still the same. Thanks in advance!

I wish that I could say my Ghost S just froze occasionally, I have three units that are all completely bricked after using Car DVR mode. All are older than 18 months, so Drift want nothing to do with it and no not offer any kind of repair service. What a waste of money.
They were all on latest firmware when they bricked. Can't update firmware now as two of them do not power up, and the other one does this:
