I dont know what to dress up as for halloween and ive been thinking of making a motovlog riding around the city in halloween night with a cape. I just wanna know before i pull it off, if its illegal to ride with a cape and if id get in trouble for it lol its nothing that long, its about 3 foot long cape :) all help and input is welcome

Three feet is easily enough to cause problems with vision, controls and get caught in moving parts.

Please, just don't do it.

I don't see what the problem is with wearing a cape on a bike...;)

I know the date has been and gone but if anyone was to do this people are right too many moving parts on a bike for capes and long dresses etc.

BUT

If you were I would use one that is fastened with Velcro so if it did get caught hopefully it would not take you off. So velcro on the shoulders. If you don't know what I mean look at kids capes they come with a t-shirt now where you velco the cape to the back.

Maybe if the cape was shorter (ie. only reached your hips) then there's less chance for it to get caught on any moving part.

lol @ the Incredibles reference btw.

Been said before, but I can't see it being illegal. There's laws that make helmets mandatory, can think of any laws that say you mustnt wear stuff (bar helmets ofc)

didn't seem to bother batman at all... i say go for it. couldn't be much worse that guys with open shirts flapping in the wind. .02
Damn it! You got there first with the batman comment!

Superman didn't have a motorbike did he? Just a red thong over his trousers. Bugger
