Looks OK, some use the Audio Technica mic, but you'd have to search on here to find which one, although it seems popular. I have to admit I used the PNY Ultra performance UHS1 32GB SD card from PC World, think they're £18, I've done 1080/30 and 720/60 on it. If you do, there's two versions for the same price, one is high performance and one is Ultra, and the better one has a better write speed which is what you want for a camera. Used in a Drift Ghost and a baby GoPro.

If by any chance you are near J26/27 of the M62, there is CCL computers (Google CCL online) and you can order branded cards pretty cheap from them, and they're an actual proper legit company not some fly by night outfit.

Where are you mounting the camera? If on the chin then the GoPro is great, if not then a drift might be better.

I was actually thinking chin mount but not sure if that view is considered better than the side helmet view ????

Yeah, all my latest are done at 720/60.

Here's one, main camera is a Drift: Helmet Review

The intro and outro are 60fps as well. Pick any videos from more than a month or two ago to see 30fps.

If you click the cog in YT, the click Quality, at the top of the list it will say 720p or 720p60 to let you know if you're in 30 or 60fps, same applies to 1080p, but I don't have a 1080p60 camera.

I think the chin is easily the best as the helmet blocks a lot of interesting things if you have a side mount, and it feels like you're floating if you have a top mount.

Here are my thoughts on my personal ideal setup:

Ah nice video's Lurch do you think the drift is better than the GoPro for the helmet ????

Also Crumpet to you get the chin mount with the gopro package or is that extra and if it is extra how much it cost ?

Get a Drift. It's waterproof, easier to use, has a better remote and video quality is as good as GoPro.

Drift is certainly lower profile, if you have a flip front, do make sure you can mount a Drift directly on the side as some the opening bit means you have to put a camera quite far back, although it's not impossible to sort out.

A GoPro will be more obvious and stick out further on a helmet, but if you want a chin mount like @C&C then you will need a GoPro.

As for quality, I do think the GoPro 3+ Silver and above pip the HD Ghost in picture, but if you look on YT you have to consider how people encode the videos and that YT recompresses them. Having said that I think the HD Ghost in 1080/30 gives a clearer picture than either of the 720p modes.

I have the chin mount but I don't actually use it. I mount the pad slightly to the side and use some arms to get the GoPro right over my chin.

Ok that helpful information.... Also I think I am setup for program wise I have been testing a few Video Editing software and finally found one for my needs and I am adjusting to it nicley :)

Yeah, it's unfortunate it's right near time to pay tax season as I've been tempted by an 850RT....

Ok I threw in some posts to show I can edit the video to do what I wanted, Also outputted the video to 1080p also fiddled we voice settings and logo just note that I am totally new to all this and haven't tweaked out the software but by the time I have everything setup by next year it will be more better also that video was recorded via my iphone 5 a few months ago when I first bought the bike I gotta be honest looking back on it I feel stupid so give you lot a giggle also lol

edited: The YouTube channel I said there doesn't exists I think I have just created one ill link you to it but nothing on it lol as ov yet

Use a bit of YT image stabalisation there? ;)

Good intro/outro, like that! If you do use image stabalisation, you need to do it before you add other titles and images asthey move with everything else. Image stabilisation works by zooming in, then picking a point to which the stabalisation anchors, so to speak.
