How To Talk Like A Pro Motovlogger.

I have noticed that the best motovloggers out there speak as if they were talking directly to you. I know its someone scripted but they do such a good job of talking as if they were in an actual conversation with you. This is something I myself have been really working on.

The other thing is getting rid of words like 'umm' and 'uhh' (filler words). That was one of my biggest challenges and I was so tired of editing them out. It really does make a big difference to a video. I made a conscious decision to do this and instead of saying umm, just stay quiet. This has not only helped me in my motovlogging but in my career when talking to management. Makes you sound much more professional.

Would love to hear more suggestions on this subject!

I agree, keeping it moving is much better. If you need to concentrate for a junction, pick it up afterwards, maybe repeat the last bit so you can have a couple of goes at audio continuity.

If you're stuttering a lot then stop and think the sentence through and say it in one smooth take. You can remove the gaps in editing.

Don't speak, or speak in such s manner that you edit less, hence you hear less of your oen voice. You could also go for counselling.

Everyone initially Hayes the sound of their own voice when they hear it recorded, but most people get over that as they get used to how it sounds.

I have a little bit problem when speaking english while motovlogging. And i have question, whether it should to use English when motovlogging ? while my english isn't good . or, can i use another languages like Indonesian to motovlog ?

I agree, internet is a big place, a lot of the world speaks English as a primary or secondary language, so it is a wide reaching language to use.

I believe Cager on Two Wheels has an English and a Portuguese language channel.

I ride about until I feel good and loose, then throw on the camera; and dive in with a "hey guys" or something of the sort and just keep going. I very rarely cut out my "ums" and "uhs" even though, statistically it's bad to leave them in there. I feel it's more genuine that I do my completely 1 shot vlogs instead of trying to redo it and chopping it to pieces to make it seem more smooth.

Chopping the shit out of my footage has kind of become my style.

Even though I now speak much more fluidly and with almost no ums and ahs. But I've kind of created a monster and feels odd to me when I'm editing and I leave a long stretch of untouched video!

I never have any long stretches of uncut footage either. This is making is a pain to edit my Portugal series as people will want to see the scenery too.

Ah, when there's scenery to play for, I don't mind so much. As in my €uro tour series. I probably say the least I ever have in any videos, but just stick loads of music in there instead! Got to let people see the pretty stuff!!

Your problem is that where you live, it's ALL pretty stuff!!
