"Trolling" viewers with video names/descriptions

I suspect I can thank M13 for me ever getting the idea into my head, lol, but do you guys ever post up your videos with a name/description that basically trolls your viewers for fun?

An example: I posted up a video called "CBR125 passes CBR600RR!", and another "CBR125 Epic Curb-Hopping!" -- neither of them are exactly as you would expect, lol. Pretty sure the most common response I got to the latter was, "Can I have my 4 minutes back?" :P

On that note, it's interesting that the essentially unintentional "fail" videos I posted are also some of the ones with the highest view counts. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised that the "close call"/"bike drop" type videos are so popular!

No i personally dont do it, I think its a shitty way to get views and a good way to lose subs.

Agreed, though back at that time I didn't really care about views/subs, I just thought they were funny incidents. That said, I should probably have added a "(Fail)" or something to the video titles just to be a little more clear, eh? :P

I suppose really, posting in such a manner would get different results from viewers depending on the vlogger's personality. Like, everyone knows M13 can be an ass/very sarcastic at times, so they'd almost expect such from him -- whereas someone who mostly posts serious/"respectful" videos/titles might actually piss off their viewers by doing it.

I try and keep my titles fairly honest .... If you want to drag people in use the keywords section?

.... It's not all about views and subs .... The analytics can tell you what's going on more....

The comments? ... Well there's always gonna be someone whose uncle is chip foose or their mate has a zookakawahonha 863 that would tear your bike a new one or wheelies backwards through the snow on a volcano lip etc ...

The people that actually provide info/insight feedback and show appreciation are your real audience and viewers ... The rest are just fluff!

I don't see a problem with creative titles as long as they're not flat out lies. Don't say hot women on bikes and then not have any women on bikes at all. As long as the CBR125 really did pass a CBR600RR then what's the problem.

For the people that say they want their 4 minutes back, they weren't really doing anything worthwhile with their 4 minutes anyway.

Whenever I see a video that doesn't match the description... if it's a real bad one, I give it a thumbs down. I could have done something else with those two minutes that actually had something to do with a cop or whatever instead of passing by a cop. Bad titles kill me >< !!!

My video with the most dislikes is where I talk about the new chevy SS sedan. People think it's a video about the car, but then find out it's just me talking about it. People that follow my channel know, but those new might think it's misleading.

the best thing to do is never miss lead anyone & be your self! Ive done sorta cheapish stuff i guess too like my first video thumbnail pic is of bikes and girls, BUT ITS MY BIKE AND MY HOT FRIENDS so its kinda okay lmao haha

I seen a girls channel and it was full of misleading titles.. like r6 gets pulled over.. and she clammed an other r6 pulled over the r6 so that was justified for the title. she has " girl " in every video more or less just trying to get cheap views... Im going to put midget riding a sport bike naked in every video i make now see if i can get some extra views :p

I'm just really... really bad at naming video. That would be a good topic though, how to name your videos all good like.
