Yeah, I shot this right before edge got here. Then I called upon spirits and pointed your direction.Very jealous. I haven't been on the bike in about a week, and its not looking good for the next few days with the remnants of Ida making its way through the country.
CURSES, IT WAS YOU!?!Yeah, I shot this right before edge got here. Then I called upon spirits and pointed your direction.
Seriously, stay safe up there.
Not too much in my county but some other places east of me got wetter. Bonaroo got cancelled due to the grounds are too wet to move vehicles safely.CURSES, IT WAS YOU!?!
Ad seriously, how much water did it dump in your area?
WE got walloped here in Connecticut. If one was looking for a six inch deep swimming pool inside of a garage, I would have the market cornered. Not too much in my county but some other places east of me got wetter. Bonaroo got cancelled due to the grounds are too wet to move vehicles safely.

Man, I heard New England got hit hard, but that's nuts. We got lucky at my house with avoiding flooding, but there are a lot of roads here in Maryland that are under water, as well as a great many buildings.WE got walloped here in Connecticut. It is. 2 days after closing and already had a once in a lifetime flooding event hahaha. The numbers range from 3-6 inches an hour the other night. Parts of I95 were totally flooded with the Jersey Barriers making the North bound lane a river with sedans submerged up to the windows. If you are interested in a quick, grainy video taken a the peak search mikesacconetv on twitter as he has a mind boggling shot of one side of the high way submerged.Dang. Is that the new place?
You definitely need to invest in FEMA flood insurance. These "once in a lifetime" events are on a faster cycle or we are counting the lifetime of a hamster maybe? It is. 2 days after closing and already had a once in a lifetime flooding event hahaha. Luckily no water in the house and none in the car.
Here's a shot of the driveway and yard, which are just part of the river now.
I'm looking at this like rain on a wedding day.

I was going with the lifespan of a gerbil, but hamster works as well. You definitely need to invest in FEMA flood insurance. These "once in a lifetime" events are on a faster cycle or we are counting the lifetime of a hamster maybe?
...and fires, blizzards, mountain lions, bear, and worst of all -This is why you build your house on a mountain. Nothing to worry about, besides landslides.
Wow! I hope you had the camera rolling on the highway.Philly got hit really hard. 7 tornados in addition to flooding rains. On Thursday I was scheduled to take a 7:15am train to Baltimore. 20 minutes before the train was to depart it was delayed, then canceled, then all trains coming out of Philly were canceled due to flooding on the tracks. After waiting in line to get my ticket rescheduled this was what I saw coming out of the station on my bike.

Vine Street Expressway fully reopens both directions after historic Philadelphia flooding
PennDOT officials say both the eastbound and westbound lanes of the Vine Street Expressway have fully reopened for drivers.6abc.com
It took me an hour to get home including having to turn around and ride the wrong way on a major highway because the way ahead was blocked by flooding waters. That may have been the first anyone on a scooter may have done so on a Philly highway.
