First bit of hate comments today LOL

Madlad

Absolute Madlad
Hey guys, I sent a clip in to motomadness to try and get a little kickstart (heh). Big mistake lmao. Got some hate comments (really only like 2 or 3) and it doesn't reallllly get to me that much but it certainly is a wee bit demotivating. So how do y'all deal with rude comments if you get any? :)

I feel satisfied when I get to piss someone off enough for them to make an effort to physically make a comment about it.
If I'm up for it I will egg them on without using any vulgar language yet still be cynical and sarcastic otherwise I will just ignore it.

Depends on the context

Some rude comments make sense

Others are just people with no life

So I guess depends on the comment. There's also a hell of a lot of footage out there of bikers being in the wrong, like the multitude of people screaming their head of and revving motors at cars that didn't come anywhere near them... so some rude comments are justified.

That's sort of my mindset lol, I get a good laugh and move on, but at the same time I'm sitting here like "why would you say that" lol

Yeah, I mean I kind of overreacted, but at the same time it wasn't like I was doing the things you mentioned. (I called that lady with attitude in my recent video a boomer). Some of the comments are rather vulgar given the circumstance ahaha

Thanks for the replies gents

Try not take it personally, rather see it as one person making their opinion public. Also comments are interaction, so thats good for the YT algorithm.

While I understand the interest in motomadness types of videos, I think they attract a lot of copy cats trying to get their moment in the spotlight :(

Just take peoples comments with a pinch of salt, what would you prefer; a real person complaining, or Bot Tim asking to be your friend......

Hate comments from compilations you should anticipate and ignore.
You are going to get them if you join those.
And especially the road rage compilations, as they often are overexaggerated xD

Otherwise, either comment friendly, and enjoy the extra traffic.
Or ignore and/or remove ;)

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm taking your advice and I'm taking the others lightly lol. Going back it was like 1 guy that made multiple comments on their video (lol) and I did gain a feew subscribers so whatever! Haha :D

I don't get it

It was Tom and MoreTom

Then it became Tony and MoreTony

But the same videos and same amount of subs?

Someone whos name starts with a T really needs some friends...I got a Ted today LOL

Update... Ted is now Logan LOL
