I went and did a run today at nova it's a valley road with 16km of decent corners. My question is, should i upload the video with the music that i chose over top? or..... no music just leave it bike sounds and wind..

Feed back would be appreciated

would you be able to check this out real quick as a tester for if you think it sounds alright or not? it would be more or less this sound the whole time lol

yeh try edit the video so you get the good bike audi
and the not so good use music

I went with no music for this one. its a long ride and i figured if someone wanted to play there own music in the background while watching then they could instead of having to listen to what i chose.

I always prefer no music...wanna hear that engine rev! Though some users made very specific videos with a track on it...which is again awesome all by itself...but then the video matches the track which gives it a cinema feel....

I have watched hundreds of videos on the tube and I got to say I enjoy hearing the bike better than hearing music, BUT, when it's just a canyon run or something that is more than just a few minutes I do prefer some low level music behind the bike sounds. And the nice thing with this is that on really bad wind noise parts you can alter the volumes on both files to reduce the chances of any annoying parts that make people click off your video before it is finished...

music really makes a video nice as long as you find music that correlates with the video content

After the problems I have with youtube and giving credit to the artists in the videos, and yet they still give me a Copyright notice, I say, do not put music in your videos. I am tired of youtube being conflicted when it comes to music. I mainly downloaded my music from soundcloud and external links that were given in soundcloud.com, yet I still had to edit the song out of the video, so I say, screw it. If you do upload a video to youtube with music, it will take a while to upload it, so they can make sure it does not violate any copyright laws. It happened to me, and can happen to you just as well.

When I add music I add the music that youtube provides, that way there is no copyright problems! try it out!

O.K. I will try it out (maybe in a future vlog), but for now, I still have a problem with uploading the videos, but they are getting better I hope. The music that they have on there, either 1) does not fit my musical taste, or 2) It is so short, that I just do not want to use it in my videos. I am uploading a current one without music, and working on some other ones now without music just so I can get a good baseline fact of if my new setup with the waterproof case for the GoPro Hero 3+ with the Sena Audio Backpack will do in cutting down the wind noise. If I add any more music, it will be after the videos I am uploading to my channel now. I have about 4 possibly 5 videos I am going to upload in the next few days. I have pretty much stopped monetizing my videos, because of very low view counts on most of them, so even if I did start doing it, I would not get that much from it anyways. I probably make more money at my current job than I would make monetizing my videos.

Yeah you're right about finding music that is actually good, they music they supply is a little different haha, and you are right again about it being short, when I use it I have to add a bunch of small clips haha kinda annoying. Good luck with the Sena and ride safe!

Thanks,, yeah it is kinda annoying to try and put 3 different songs, at least for me in the video when I can only put one in and it has to be only one per video in my opinion. yep, I will. :) I will probably go on the POW/MIA ride this weekend and also try to take on the Arkansas Dragon as well. Since Motovlog.com will be closing briefly, according to dandoolittle this weekend, I will start posting those videos once I make them and they are processed by Windows Movie maker, on my channel until it comes back on line probably this sunday.

Nice! I have never been on a group ride, but I've only had my bike for a little over a month and I hope to get involved with group rides next summer. Have fun man!
