so sorry for the wait everyone i would have a video to post but i went out to take the video the other day and ended up with a flat tire. so i had to get it home now that i have the tire fixxed i tried to start it up and the starter clutch isnt engaging and turning over my motor like it should be. grrrrrr its just been one thing after another with this bike. i just want to ride and make videos already

flat tyre .. starter motor... "something" really didnt want you to be out on the road that day ..... maybe you avoided getting creamed by a bus or swiped by a soccer mom!!! ... be philosophical.... and when everything does go just right for a ride day.... then you know you meant to be out there!!

Its proll just the starter solinoid. Give it a wack (might help), otherwise, get JUST the solenoid from a wreckers, their usually a tough part.
Love to see that walk-around vid.

so im just waiting on sony vegas to finish down loading. then i will put the video together, do you think i should bleep it i do say F**k a lot but im a jersey boy so you get what what get. no i do not fist pump f**k that shit. but walk around and what it she sounds like trying to crank her.
so i got the starter rebuild kit finished yesterday and then today i popped in 4 new spark plugs and she just kept on purrrrring sounded so good. im going to go on a little ride to make sure everything is a ok after it stops raining. ride save guys. videos to come soon
so i got her back home today after having to keep her at a friends house hopefully i can figure out this god dam fuel issue with a new petcock i have coming in the mail.

i dont like starting new treads about the same thing. i also like to bring things back to what they where about
so quick update. so i was all happy to get my bike all legal shes been running around town fine. so im all like ive got the weekend off let me take it to my girls house which is about 40 miles away. im cruising 60-70 for about 20 miles, when i have to start slowing down because someone was turning off the road i was on so i start down shifting my bike dies. i try to restart it battery dead so now i have to dig into the charging system and see whats muffed up. the worst of it was i had to wait like 2 1/2 hours to get picked up but this other biker stopped and chatted with me for a bit while i waited which was really cool of him.
i took this shot last friday before my shake down run that showed i still have electrical issues to work out. i think i need a new regulator rectifier.
i also took here down to the dmv and got me a nice bright blue vintage tag.
